Plus some seem to feel a sealed drag is everything even if fishing from a boat where there is no danger of your reel getting submerged...to each his own - I mainly do boat based stuff but see where sealed gear is important, not that my regular reels (Colton / TFO / Tibor) have had much problem from the occasional dunking....just give good rinse in fresh afterwards and they are good to go
